CasaSol

CasaSol is a software tool that provides recommendations for architects that are focused on sustainable architecture concepts. It is a dynamic simulation tool that provides benchmark comparisons. The tool includes recommendations for passive design, active systems, and renewable energy sources.

CasaSol is developed by Lars Junghans and is aimed to be for architecture students and designers interested in sustainable architecture. It differs from other simulation tools by providing a platform that can be used quickly without previous knowledge of building simulation tools. It is developed with the goal that the education is focused on technical and design concepts rather than to teach how to use a building simulation tool (building modelling tool).
